Wesley is an Honours Graduate from Toronto’s renowned Humber College Jazz Program, where he studied extensively with some of Canada’s great musicians such as Ted Quinlan, Toni Zorzi, Terry Promane, and Al Kay. Combined with his Classical studies at the RCM, and his vast playing experience, Wesley is an extremely versatile guitarist. Some of his noted compostions include an acoustic fingerstyle piece for a Federal Government program and an original instrumental ska piece for the Canadian Documentary "'Maple Flavour Films". He has worked on a number of projects based heavily in Acid Jazz, Electronica, Pop, R & B, and Soul including work with Montreal artist, Dana Edmonds. Regarded highly in the Reggae/Ska scene, led him to compose, co-produce, and record for the Toronto Rocksteady/Reggae band, Rah-Style. Wesley currently resides in the Oakville/Burlington area where he works on original material and gigs regularly performing at special events.
With his versatile playing skills and over 15 years of teaching experience, Wesley is a sought after educator for guitarists. His unique ability to connect with all ages, levels, and learning styles has made him a highly regarded teacher in the industry. Wesley currently teaches privately at his home studio in Oakville/Burlington area.
